Child safety standards
Last updated 17 October 2026
Bakkar is only for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind.
What we don't allow
- Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in chats, Addas, Buzz, profile photos or anywhere else on Bakkar.
- Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to contact, meet or get images from someone under 18.
- Accounts belonging to anyone under 18.
What we do
- Everyone confirms they're 18 or older before they can use Bakkar, and we remove accounts we find belong to minors.
- Anyone can report a profile, chat, Adda message or Buzz post from inside the app. Reports about child safety go to the top of our queue.
- When we find CSAM or CSAE we remove it, permanently ban the accounts involved, keep the evidence the law requires, and report it to the authorities in India, including through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, and to other bodies as the law requires.
