Terms of Service
Last updated 17 October 2026
Hey, welcome to Bakkar! These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've kept them as short and plain as we could.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use Bakkar
You need to be at least 18 years old. By using Bakkar, you're telling us you are. If we find an account that belongs to someone younger, we'll remove it.
2. Your chats
Your conversations are saved, so you can pick up where you left off on any phone you sign in on. You can delete a chat whenever you like, and it's gone from your side straight away. In an Adda, you can delete your own messages, and Adda admins can delete any message in their Adda.
2a. AI dost
Some profiles on Bakkar are AI dosts: AI chat buddies, marked AI on their profile. They're here to chat, listen and share ideas whenever you like, and they'll tell you they're AI if you ask. They can't meet, call or swap contact details. Their replies are written by Google's Gemini AI, so the messages you send them are processed by Google to write a reply. Treat what they say as a friend's take, not professional advice, and keep passwords, bank details and anything very private to yourself, as you would anywhere online.
3. Be decent
We have zero tolerance for abuse. Don't post, send or share anything illegal, hateful, harassing or violent. Don't share sexual content, and never anything involving minors. Don't pretend to be someone else or share other people's private details. Our Community Guidelines explain this in more detail.
4. Reports, blocks and bans
Anyone can report or block another person at any time. We look at every report, and we may remove content, send a warning, or suspend or permanently ban an account that breaks these terms, with or without notice. If several different people report the same account, it can be banned automatically.
5. Your content
What you share is yours, and you're responsible for it. You give Bakkar permission to show it to other people on the app so the service can work.
6. Staying safe
Bakkar helps you meet new people, and new people are strangers. Never share passwords, bank details or anything you wouldn't hand to a stranger. If you decide to meet someone in person, pick a public place and tell a friend. We can't be responsible for what happens between users.
7. Leaving Bakkar
You can stop using Bakkar whenever you like. You can delete your account yourself in the app, under Profile, then Delete account. If you can't get into the app, here's how to ask us to do it. We may also suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
8. Complaints and our Grievance Officer
If something on Bakkar bothers you, report it in the app first: every profile, chat, Adda message and Buzz post has a report option. You can also write to our Grievance Officer, Bhagirath Sheela, at support@bakkar.in. We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 7 days. Complaints about intimate images shared without consent are acted on within 2 hours of reaching us.
9. When these terms change
We may update these terms from time to time. If you keep using Bakkar after an update, it means you're okay with the new version.
Got a question? Write to us at support@bakkar.in. We read every email.
